A Whittle Bit of Commentary with Chad Whittle
Below is a rush transcript (may contain errors):
What a speech by President Trump on Tuesday at the United Nations! Trump gave an American speech. He put America first, as any President should and as he said, other nations should put their interests ahead of other nations, which is common sense and makes sense.
He made it very clear where America and his administration stands on the threats to our homeland and that strong, clear leadership is something that is well overdo. We live in an increasingly dangerous world and the world is safer when America has strong leadership.
In one of the best moments of his speech, he explained in clear detail how socialism has failed and continues to fail, which is something that an American President probably hasn’t done since Reagan. Trump in some ways reminded me of Reagan because of his strong, clear speech. He left nothing to the imagination in regard to where he stands. He put the world on notice that America will not tolerate threats to our nation and he encouraged peace. If you haven’t watched this speech, you should because Trump gave a pro-America, American sounding, speech. Trump sounded how an American President should: he offered the world strong leadership, but with a plea for peace, but put America first.
This was a speech long overdue and it showed the world that American leadership is back and the world will be safer for it.
