I'm a Millennial and I Still Believe in the American Dream 5/12/17 - A Whittle Bit of Commentary

A Whittle Bit of Commentary with Chad Whittle

Below is a rush transcript (may contain errors):

There has been a lot of stories written in the press about the death of the American Dream, and how it’s not possible for millennials to achieve it anymore, that America’s best days are well behind us. Well, I don’t buy into these pessimistic attitudes that are being broadcasted on the TV, and within the pop culture. I’m a millennial, and I still believe in the American Dream. I believe that if you work hard, are honest, fair, follow the rules, and treat others with kindness that not only can you have success, you will achieve the American Dream. My generation has been told a lot of big government lies that we need to rely on the government for our needs, but it’s wrong. This is still the United States of America and if you put in the effort, you still can make it. And now that we have pro-America leadership under Trump, there is even more room for optimism  than ever before for millennials, and Americans of all ages. I’m Chad Whittle on A Whittle Bit of Commentary.
