Our Society is a Tower of Babel of Moral Relativism 10/10/17 - A Whittle Bit of Commentary

A Whittle Bit of Commentary with Chad Whittle

Below is a rush transcript (may contain errors):

We live in an ever increasing post-truth world where facts and truth are relevant and not just black and white, right or wrong. Especially when it comes to morals, it’s all morally relevant.

As our society continues its shift away from values that have guided generations for hundreds of years and create new values that may change depending on the person or the situation, it’s important for those of us that know the truth to not only live it, but also be able to explain it to others.

I believe the reason we have so many morally relevant versions of what people believe truth is and what is morally right and wrong is because we as a society have gone away from the foundation of real, Biblical truth, and so since we no longer have a belief system that all in society agree on and try to live by, people have decided to create their own truth, and one person’s truth may be different from someone else's thus confusing a lot of people about what to believe and which person’s version of the truth is right and the one they should follow. This is what happens when you turn away from the truth and light of the Bible to the moral relativism that has created a spiritual darkness in our society.

We basically have a tower of Babel of morality and as the original tower of Babel didn’t work out for society, this tower of moral relativism that society has created isn’t working out either.
